Reflection Guide
As you watch The Sheep Detective, put on your Sherlock Holmes hat and become a compassionate spiritual detective. Look beyond the surface of the story and notice the deeper messages woven throughout the film.
As You Observe the Story Consider:
What actions reveal deeper truths about the characters?
What recurring themes emerge?
What might the names or roles of people, places, or objects symbolize?
How do colors contribute to underlying messages in the story?
What biblical, mythological, or archetypal references do you notice?
Who or what represents the hero, the guide, the antagonist, the innocent, or the wise one?
What correlations do you see that are similar to other archetypal stories, plays, and books (modern or classic)?
As You Reflect Within Consider:
What metaphors speak to your own life journey?
What invitations toward greater awareness, compassion, forgiveness, courage, or love are being offered?
Most importantly, what is the story reminding you about yourself?
